This is the whole premise of the book and its focus on Dr. Fauci.
However, in reality there was no "coup d’état". If there was, we would be living under military rule and Dr. Fauci would be running the country.
The introduction also includes a section entitled "Fauci's Report Card". Here the author correctly points out that the US had one of the world’s highest rates of deaths from COVID. Then blames that on Dr. Fauci: "As the world watched, Tony Fauci dictated a series of policies that resulted in by far the most deaths, and one of the highest percentage COVID-19 body counts of any nation on the planet."
The "report card" does not even mention Trump. In reality Dr. Fauci was just an *advisor*. The policies were "dictated" by the Trump administration, who routinely overrode Dr. Fauci’s advice, ultimately wouldn’t even allow him to speak to media. Examples are on masking, avoiding large gatherings, workplace closures, availability of tests and PPE, and even on whether to get vaccinated. This should be Trump’s “report card”, not Dr. Fauci’s.
This is just from the *introduction*. Not objective journalism or science. Just right-wing propaganda stoking and misdirecting public anger.

This book mentions Fauci and Bill Gates as key negative actors (which they are) but also reveals so many staggering details about the policies, practices, and profits that drive our government as a whole. This book includes hundreds of sources and quotes from experts that, most important for me, validated my opinions and analysis during the pandemic response. I knew something was wrong, but i didn't have all the pieces to see the picture. This book lays many of these pieces on the table, but there are more yet to be revealed and confirmed.
I would love for every person that blindly listens to the media, that naively agrees with politicians, that mutely watches the news without ever asking "why are they showing me this?" to read this book. More importantly, don't just read the book - bring a highlighter and pencil. Make notes, mark the pages, highlight key information. Then, go to the references that are listed and find the information for yourself. Engage with the book and don't just accept what's presented to you - that's how we got here.
Maybe next time these weak men come on your screens to "save" us, you will say, "no". But... Fauci and Gates have failed time and time again... but people keep listening. Think for yourself and question authority. But...Memories are short and attention spans are shorter. Now turn the channel and find out which brain dead celebrities are hooking up.

My one complaint - this book was obviously hastily written to strike while the iron was hot and make the information available. The result is numerous typos, repeated sections, and odd formatting. My hope would be a second issue where this is all cleaned up.
I went through three highlighters and a few stacks of sticky-notes.
This is NOT a casual read.
